A deep clean is the top-to-bottom reset a downtown condo needs a few times a year — or before you start a recurring plan. We go beyond surface tidying into baseboards, door frames, vents, light switches and build-up in kitchens and bathrooms, for homes from CityPlace and Harbourfront to King West lofts and Financial District suites. Your total is calculated from your rooms and shown before you pay.
From $35.00/hr · 4.0 hours minimum
Condos in the core collect a particular kind of grime. Kitchen exhaust fans and backsplashes in open-plan suites build up a greasy film; bathroom grout and shower glass in compact units see constant use; and dust settles along baseboards, window tracks and HVAC vents faster than people expect. Clients in CityPlace, Harbourfront, King West and the Financial District usually book a deep clean when they first start with us, at the change of seasons, or before hosting family. It is the visit that resets everything so regular cleaning can keep it there.
A deep clean includes everything in a standard clean, then goes further: baseboards, door frames and doors wiped down, light switches and handles sanitised, vents and reachable fixtures dusted, kitchen backsplash and cabinet fronts degreased, and bathrooms detailed with extra attention to grout lines, fixtures and shower glass. Because downtown homes are compact, a deep clean is often finished in a single visit. Add the inside of the oven, fridge or cabinets if you want those done too.
Our cleaners are used to the logistics of downtown buildings near the St. Lawrence Market, Entertainment District and Church-Wellesley: signing in at concierge, using a fob or lockbox, and booking freight elevators when required. A deep clean usually takes longer than a standard visit, so tell us about any building time limits in your notes and we will plan around them.
Deep cleaning uses the same transparent rate: $35 per hour with a 4-hour minimum, plus a $10 gas fee and 13% HST. Deep cleans take more time per room than a standard clean, and the booking page accounts for that automatically. You see your billed hours and total before paying securely by Stripe, and we clean seven days a week from 7am to 8pm.
To get the most from a deep clean, clear counters and floors where you can so your cleaner spends time cleaning rather than tidying. Put away valuables and fragile items, and let us know about any surfaces that need special care, such as marble, natural stone or unsealed wood. If your building near the Financial District or CityPlace limits contractor hours, tell us when booking. After your deep clean, many downtown clients move to biweekly house cleaning to keep the results going.
